One Week To Launch!

Greetings all,

I'm excited to announce that my new fantasy epic, entitled "Rodenhold, Volume 1: The Vanguard" will be available for purchase in paperback from Lulu.com soon, followed shortly after by the Official Rodenhold Reader's Companion Soundtrack from ArtistSignal.

For those of you who don't know (probably all of you, actually), "Rodenhold" is the title of a five-part modern fantasy post-apocalyptic saga I have been working on for the past few years. The story is set in a modern human world wherein a comet crashes onto the planet, and from its crater spring all sorts of terrifying creatures hell-bent on the destruction of humans. These monsters, who refer to themselves as the Zenith, are led by a religious prophet who foresaw their landing on the planet, and claims they are now in paradise, free to devour and feed on humans as they wish. Yet, soon after, the secret guardians of humans, solar-powered warriors known as Apex, descend from the sky to save the humans from certain destruction. What ensues is a violent and cataclysmic war that could mean the end of all existence.

The first installment in this series, "The Vanguard," is set right in the middle of the war, beginning several years after the landing of the comet, in the midst of the ongoing struggle. A Vanguard named Sean, one of the strongest fighters in the Apex army, is charged by their king to accompany a young human girl on a path toward a place called the Road of Lights, where she has been guaranteed safety as well as playing a vital part in saving all humans from their fearsome attackers. Along the way, the Vanguard must also retrieve an ancient weapon that exists only in rumors, the Sword of Vermeer...or, by its alternate title, "the sword that can cut through anything." Yet, news has also traveled of a black Zenith knight clad in invincible armor, who waits for them at the end of their journey. The first of five books is almost finished!

In the meantime, I'll be editing the final touches of the work before it's available for purchase.

All haters and trolls welcome!
